A message from Jeryl

Winter, 2024

Like many of us I’ve spent much of my life obsessing about my weight.

Our culture of thin affects us all; feeling you don’t fit the ‘thin ideal’ can cause negative body image, low self-esteem and lead to disordered eating.

With the new weight loss drugs being touted the default seems to be we ‘should’ be looking to change our body size. It’s an individual choice, and for many it will literally be a life saver. But no one – including yourself – should be made to feel bad about themselves, whatever their body size.

I work with you to challenge attitudes towards weight – ones which persist throughtout our life span. Through talks and workshops at schools, libraries and on-line I help educate and encourage frank discussion on this most sensitive of issues.

We’re all in this together – it will be good to hear from you!

Jeryl
